After being sidelined withblood clots for the entire season, Flyers defenseman Kimmo Timonenis ready to get back on the ice, Thursday. Timonen skatedwith the team on Thursday morning, claiminghe felt good and was eagerto return. The Darren O'day Jersey Flyers' next game is against the Rangers on Saturday night. MORE: "If they want me to play Saturday, I'm good to go," Timonen told reporters Thursday. "Every day is better, and I have to start playing games somewhere down the road. If it's Saturday, that's good. If it's not Saturday, then it's next week." Timonen, who turns 40 in March, was diagnosedwith blood clots in his lungs and right legin early August after signing a one-year, $2 million contract extension with the Flyers on June 13. Hehasn't played since Game 7 of the Flyers-Rangers Eastern Conference quarterfinal series on April30 butwascleared to resume workouts in early Februarywhile on blood thinnersas tests were being conducted.
