Johnny Gaudreau's wife Meredith has been flooded with supportive me sages after giving birth to their baby boy seven months after his pa sing. Meredith announced their son's birth on on Monday afternoon. "I had our third baby! Another baby boy," Merdith wrote, one week after giving birth. "Carter Michael Gaudreau - same middle name as his daddy. 8lb 3 ounces, 20.5 inches - exact same as his daddy. He looks so much like his daddy too." In the birth announcement, the late star's wife said she already loved the newborn "so much." "We are going to have so much fun. I can't wait to give you the best life, my special boy, forever," she wrote. Fans and loved ones flooded Meredith's comment section with supportive me sages after she dropped the announcement. "Wow! The weight and length exactly the same is truly heaven sent ! Johnny sent a glimmer to show you he is there with you all," one person commented. "Johnny's twin," another person said. Meredith Gaudreau announced her pregnancy at her husband's memorial service played in the National Hockey League for 11 seasons before being tragically killed with his younger brother, Matthew Gaudreau, in an accident in August 2024. A suspected drunk driver struck them while they were biking near their home in New Jersey. Johnny was 31, and Matthew was 29 at the time. Meredith made the shocking announcement that she was pregnant with her third childat a memorial service for her husband.
