After calling out an NHL concu sion spotterafter the Boston Bruins' 3-2 overtime win over the New York Rangers on Friday, Brad Marchand took to Twitter later in the evening to apologize for his comments. Toward the end of the second period of the Bruins' comeback victory, Marchand was chasing after the puck when he was skated into Jacob Trouba's elbow, which hit him in the head. Although he looked shaken upfrom the contact,Marchand stayed in the game and wasn't pulled by the spotteruntil the start of the third period. Postgame, Marchand expre sed his disappointment with the delay, especially in crunch time as Bostontrailed 2-1 entering the final frame. "That's embarra sing. They had 20 minutes to sit there and view the tape and call that in ... g uy's up there busy eating pizza and cheeseburgers and can't watch the game," the 31-year-oldtold Ryan Zimmerman Jersey reporters, via Boston Sports Journal's .
